The idea for these Thanksgiving jokes and fun facts came from our recent Halloween church party. At every table, there were a couple of fun facts about Halloween that we read while we were waiting to get our food. I thought it was a fun and easy way to decorate the tables and encourage conversation.

So I thought I should make some cute joke and fun fact cards for Thanksgiving. And share them with you, of course.

Because we know how much kids love cheesy jokes. And I promise you that these jokes are corny but super fun.

And fun facts are a great way to get conversations rolling. And I will be honest here and say that until I did some research, I did not know most of these Thanksgiving facts. So these printables are educational too. And you never know when you will need some random facts about turkeys.

My girls love it when I stick a little note in their lunch boxes. I usually just write that “I love you” on a napkin and stick it in their lunch box. But when I put a little card or anything that seems “fancy,” they are giddy.

And the kids really love it when I put these jokes in their lunch boxes because they get to read it to all their friends at the lunch table. I cut up all these cards, put them in a baggie, and stuck them in a kitchen drawer. Then when I am putting lunches together, I can quickly find them and put them in their lunches. Easy-peazy. And so fun.
