Gratitude is trait that I am always striving for. Some days an attitude of gratitude is easy and on other days, I really struggle. But I have noticed that when I conscientiously focus on being thankful, I see more to be grateful for. Small things, like a phone call from a friend, something that would be easy to pass by, takes on new meaning. When I have a spirit of gratidude, I can see some purpose in the problems of life that seem insurmountable and completely depressing.
But I have also learned that gratitude has to be cultivated and taught. And it is not effortless. I wanted to make some art that helps remind me and my kids to look for the good. I made these printables last week and then taped them on my pantry door. I usually do this with all my printables before I put them on the blog or in the shop, just to make sure that everything is exactly the way I want it before it goes online. But even after I was assured that these designs were the way I wanted them, I kept the printables up. I love walking by them all day and being reminded how blessed and thankful I can be, even amidst the stress of life.
This is a set of three printables. You can download and use them all or just the one that really speaks to you. I think these would be great in a gallery wall or as a gift set. These will replace my framed Halloween prints on my mantle when Halloween is over.
While I think these are perfect for the Thanksgiving season, I wanted them to be year-round art as well. My goal was to make something that fits the season but is not strictly seasonal. I hope you can use these in your home or office space any time you want to reminded of the goodness in your life!
These printables come in sizes 8×10 & 5×7. They are for personal use only, but feel free to give them as gifts. I think framed printables make such a nice and inexpensive gift.
