Of all the I Spy games I have made this year, this I Spy Autumn is one of my very favorites! I love the colors and the graphics.
I actually have a funny story about these graphics, the wheat stalk, in particular. I always ask lots of people (usually kids) to play my I Spy games before I put them on the site. I want to make sure that my answer key is correct. I would hate for a kid to be looking for 8 pumpkins, when there was really only 7. That could drive a kid crazy.
This past week I asked my mom to double check my answer key right if she had time. Later that evening, I saw that she had checked it, and I thanked her for helping me. She said the only thing that was wrong was that I had too many “hairy leaves.” Hairy leaves? I looked at the game and saw that she had circled the wheat stalk. When I told her it was supposed to be a wheat stalk, she said, “Oh yeah. I can totally see that now.” So I hope your kids can find all the hairy leaves or the wheat stalks. Whatever they want to call them is fine with me.
Anyway.
I love this I Spy game. I hope your kids do too.
Like always, this game comes with an answer key. My middle daughter loves the answer key. She prefers to play with it, that way she knows exactly how many of each item she is looking for.
These I Spy games are great quiet afternoons at home, or for parties and play dates. I love that the kids enjoy it and it keeps them busy.
If you want to use this game over and over, just print it out and then laminate it. (I use an older version this laminator and these dry erase markers. They dry erase markers wipe away easily with a tissue and these dry erase markers are washable!)
