August’s visiting teaching message is “Living a Consecrated Life.” This is such a beautiful message and the goal of a lifetime. 
This month’s printable features a quote from the opening lines of this month’s message:
“To consecrate is to set apart or dedicate something as sacred, devoted to holy purposes,” said Elder D. Todd Christofferson of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles. “True success in this life comes in consecrating our lives—that is, our time and choices—to God’s purposes.”
Consecrating our will to God is not easy, but I love that this lesson teaches that doing so will make us holy and will increase our faith. This has been true in my life. When I have decided to take a calling I REALLY didn’t want or thought was too hard, when I have made sacrifices to serve when it wasn’t convenient, or gone to church when I didn’t feel like it, I have been blessed. I have felt myself stretched many times, and while it hurt a bit, I look back with fondness at my personal growth. I am sure you can say the same.

Some readers have told me that they like to give their sisters a 4×6 frame (affiliate link) and every month, they just change out the printable. I think that’s a great idea! And you could do the same with a 8×10 frame (affiliate link).
