This morning I was reading a blogger’s bio and I was shocked when she said she hated sleep. I was blown away because I love sleep! I would give up a lot before I would give up sleep. In fact, some of my friends joke about texting or calling me late at night because they know that I am either asleep or ornery because I am not asleep.
So today, my friends, I am giving you the gift of more sleep this holiday season. Instead of spending hours making invitations for your holiday parties, you can use these bright and festive watercolor invitations. With the time you would have spent making invitations, you can get a few more beautiful hours of sleep.
Because friends help friends get more sleep.
Every year our church congregation has a cookie exchange. All the adult women who want to participate bring a dozen of their favorite cookies. Then we “exchange” cookies. Everyone gets to go home with a dozen different cookies, selecting some from everyone else who participates. Last year, I went with molasses cookies but I came home with brownies, sugar cookies, and lots of other yummy cookies and bars. Cookie exchanges are a lot of fun and don’t require a lot of planning, which makes them a win-win as far as parties go.
When I was asked to make these invitations for our cookie exchange, it wasn’t hard for me to pick a watercolor design. Watercolor is so popular right now, and for good reason. It’s so pretty. So not only do you get more sleep by using these invitations, you also look good when handing them out.
There are three invitations that you can download: one for a cookie exchange, one for a Christmas party, and one that is blank. You can totally customize the blank invitation for all your party needs.
These invitations are easy to edit on any editing software such as Photoshop, Photoshop Elements, PicMonkey, Canva, etc. Each invitation is sized 4×6 and comes in the jpeg format for ease of editing.
