Today’s free printable is perfect for all your New Year’s Eve parties! It incorporates some of the best things in life: kisses (hello!), chocolate (my fave!), glitter (yes!), and fortune cookies (because who doesn’t love fortune cookies?!).
And let me just start by confessing that it was just recently that I learned that the reason we kiss people at midnight on New Year’s is for good luck. I mean, how did I get to be 37-years-old and not know that?! Seriously. (I would blame it on my childhood but I am too responsible for that. 
)
It wasn’t until I read a USA Today article explaining this tradition that I had that light bulb moment. I guess I just thought we kissed people because it was fun. 
Now that I know the that we kiss people for good luck, I thought it would be so fun to incorporate that tradition into a little printable that we could give to our friends and family who are ringing in the New Year with us.
These are the supplies I used: (Some of these are affiliate links. You can read about that here.)
- Chocolate kisses
- Fortune cookies
- Small hole punch
- Cellophane bags-(I use ones similiar to these.)
- Twine or ribbon-(I love to use jute twine.)
- My free printable tags!
To put them together, just put the kisses and fortune cookies in the cellophane bags. Then punch a hole in the corner of the tag and tie the tag on the bag. Easy peezy. Lemon squeezy.
I made these printables in four fun and traditional colors so that there would be something for everyone.
My favorite is the blue. But naturally I like them all and I hope that you find that one of the colors is perfect for your party.
And let’s not forget about the glitter.
Sigh.
I just love glitter. I know it’s kinda trendy right now, but I don’t care. I. Love. It.
And glitter is perfect for starting a new year with a little bling, right? A little bling now and then never hurt anybody.
