Have you guys ever heard of Yummly? I discovered it several weeks ago and it’s been really fun! I like to think of it as a pinterest exclusively for recipes.
One of my favorite things about it is when I click on a image, it tells me in an instant how many servings, calories, ingredients, and how long I need to make the recipe. It allows me to save recipes and categorize them anyway I want. I really love that it’s super easy to search according to ingredients, time, allergies, and categories, just to name a few. It’s so cool!
You can find my recipes on Yummly too. You should definitely check it out! I bet you will love it like I do.
But on to today’s recipe.
It’s a delicious and easy crockpot recipe! In my world, crockpot recipes are lifesavers! When the girls have piano or soccer after school, I don’t have an hour to get dinner ready in between homework and their activities. So when we walk in the door and dinner is ready, there is a collective sigh of relief. I am a firm believer that all moms need a collection of easy and delicious crockpot recipes.
This crockpot honey mustard chicken is one of our family’s favorites!
The best part of this recipe is the sauce. The honey, butter, mustard, and curry powder all combine to make one of the yummiest sauces of all time. It’s sweet, savory, and rich.
It’s like magic. Everything it touches turns delicious and golden.
Because of the awesome sauce, we can add potatoes to the crockpot to really make it a crockpot wonder meal! We have also added carrots and that turns out magnificently too.
You really can’t go wrong with this recipe. I honestly think it’s fail-proof.
When you are in a pinch for a time, but want to give your family a hearty meal that they will love, try this great crockpot meal!
