This I Spy Sunday printable game is perfect for helping kids get through church! When the kids start getting restless and bored, this I Spy game will help them remember why church is important while having fun.
I have had more requests for this printable than anything else! And I totally understand why. Whenever I pull out my I Spy Halloween game with its purple skulls and spiders and start passing it around the church pew, I also wish I had game with a little bit more meaning for Sunday.
This printable game is also perfect for Sunday School or primary when you have a class of 7-year-olds, and your lesson ends 15 minutes earlier than you thought it would. And it’s great for family night or anytime you want to have a discussion on the Sabbath and why it’s important.
I also worked really hard to make sure this game was non-denominational. I have lots of friends who are not of my faith (LDS) but who also want something to help the little people on the bench stay quiet and happy. The struggle is real and universal.
So when I found these darling graphics by Susan Fitch, I was ecstatic. Seriously, I did a happy dance. I love all the images of children and the Savior. They are the perfect, happy, and colorful graphics for this I Spy game.
And these games are meant to keep the little people engaged for at least a few minutes. Enough time for all the adults to take catch our breath and listen to the speakers for at least a minute. I put 36 different colored stars in this game! 36!! It was intentional. It took my kiddos some time to find all those stars and I hope it takes your kids just as long! Ha!
As always, there is an answer key so the kids can check their answers.
We love to laminate our games so we can use them over and over. I use my handy-dandy lamintor and we love dry erase markers (<–affiliate links) because they wipe off with a tissue. My kids even flip the game over and draw pictures on the back when they are done finding the picture. It’s the game that keeps on giving.
I hope you can use this I Spy Sunday game for lots of reverent fun on Sunday, both at church and at home.
If you love this idea, I would be so grateful if you shared it on Facebook, Pinterest, or anywhere else you hang out! ♥ Thank you! ♥
