Cookies speak to my soul. They make me happy, maybe un-naturally so. In fact when I was a few decades younger, I made a goal to find the best cookies recipes. You know how some people put skydiving and African safaris on their bucket lists? Well, cookies are on mine.
Maybe I need to aim higher in life.
But cookies are a universal love language. Whenever I hear that someone is having a hard time, I start whipping up some cookies. And no one has ever turned me away when I am handing them a plate of cookies.
Since cookies are such a fun way to show love and appreciation, I wanted to make some gift tags that are fun and take cookie-giving to whole new level.
Teacher appreciation week is a great time to tell all the teachers how awesome they are.
But sometimes we also want to tell our neighbors and co-workers how great they are too. These gift tags are a cute and inexpensive way to dress up some cookies and let people know that we care.
One tag is specifically for teachers. It says, “Thanks to you, I am one smart cookie.” The other tag is for anyone and everyone. It says,”You’re awesome! You deserve a cookie.”
And the third tag is blank and a bit bigger. It is meant to be stacked behind the other tags and is for writing a personalized message.
I have been a cookie making machine this past week, and it’s been super fun! Sharing cookies is always something I enjoy, and this week I was able to share my two favorite cookie recipes: chocolate chip and peanut butter cup cookies.
All you have to do is whip up your favorite cookies, then use these tags to add a little personalized note. And wa-la! You’ve got an inexpensive, cute, and easy gift to give to all the awesome people in your life.
Taping these tags on a bag of Oreos is also a great idea. I would never.ever.ever. judge someone or turn my nose up at a bag of Oreos. Especially double-stuff. Just sayin.
I hope you can use these tags for teacher appreciation week, or any other time you want to tell someone they’re awesome. I would be so thankful if you shared or pined this post on your social media. ♥
